Coffeeshop Rockland

Located close to Dam Square where the Raadhuisstraat meets the Singel you find Amsterdam’s Coffeeshop Rockland. On first sight you can see and smell the small terrace outside. The red light and graffiti style lettering together with the bull terrier logo are catchy and are noticeable from far.

The shop is actually a bit below street level so when you enter there is directly a stairs going down. You walk into the bar where you can order your cannabis or drinks. Behind the bar there is merchandise put on display that can be purchased. Some pipes, caps, papers the usual stuff. There is a great selection of organic teas and good Italian coffee. The espresso is a speciality the friendly budtender recommends.

On the left are tables with wall seatings and bar stools. The light wooden and red interiors gives it a warm but trendy feeling. People are playing cards, talking and laughing. Relaxed music is playing just right and the atmosphere is great. The menu consists of 16 different strains of weed and hashes.

Popular strains like Rollex OG, Cookies Kush and Lemon Haze are just some of the strains available. There blueberry haze is very popular with the sativa lovers and is worth a try. Next to the newer strains there are more regular strains like white widow and AK 47.

There are 6 different hash strains on the menu. The new school hashes took the upper hand. OG kush pollen, Cheese Cream, Amnesia x Kush and the afghani kush hash are very soft and sticky. The last 2 hashes listed are traditional hashes, Premera Gold and Zero Zero. Then there choice between 4 pre rolled joints. Ak47 joint with tobacco, g13xAmnesia with tobacco, zero zero hash with tobacco and a pure weed joint that has no specified strain. If your into edibles there is a space cake available as well!
