Temperature is critical when you’re dabbing cannabis extracts. Here are some temp tips to help you get the most out of your experience!
Tips For The Best Dabbing Experience
You could just pack your extracts into a vape pen or dab rig and go at it. But most likely you’d fail to experience all of what your extracts have to offer.
An important thing to think about is the temperature at which you heat your extracts. Some cannabinoids need to reach a specific temperature before they’re released. If they’re not properly activated, you won’t fully benefit from the product you’re consuming.
Most vape pens allow for temperatures ranging from 300°F to 430°F. You can also control how long you heat your nail if you’re dabbing through a traditional bong-like rig or dab straw.
Just Enough Temp for Flavor and Euphoria
Dabbing at temperatures between 300°F and 330°F gives you the best overall flavor profile. However, this temperature range won’t give you a great buzz. It also doesn’t release cannabinoids such as CBD, so you’ll achieve only minimal medical benefits. This temperature range is great for those who want to enjoy the flavor of their products without getting zooted. It will also let you achieve a slight euphoric feeling without the risk of paranoia.
The Sweet Spot
Dabbing at temperatures between 330°F and 370°F is the sweet spot. This range will get the best from of your dabbing experience and the product you’re consuming. Temperatures at this activate cannabinoids such as THC. This provides optimum flavor and overall experience. If you’re new to dabbing, this will allow you to enjoy the experience without becoming unfocused or sleepy. You’ll also avoid the over-stimulation that can lead to paranoia and anxiety.
Dabbing at temperatures between 370°F and 430°F will get you intensely blazed. If you’re looking to achieve the highest level of elevation, this is the range for you. These temperatures will release all cannabinoids, including THC, CBD, and THCv. As a result, you’ll experience their full effects. This is also the best range for those dabbing for relief from pain, inflammation, and other ailments. The effect is very intense and will rapidly provide that relief. However, since this range releases all cannabinoids, it’s not recommended for those new to cannabis or extracts.
What temp do you like to dab at? Weed love to know!
I dab at 686F. For flavor but I feel like I waste half of it. How do u not waste any at such a low temperature
No way you aren’t wasting oil at that low of temps! I keep my e nail at 710 for shatters and harder oils and around 680 for butter and softer lives.
I feel the author took existing info on vaporizing flower and just applied it to this article. Any real dabber knows those temps are way too low to vaporize oil. #dafuq
