General info

Although the exact genetics are unknown, White Rhino is believed to be a cross between landrace strains from Afghanistan, Brazil, and South India. It first saw light after being bred by Green House Seeds and is related to another popular strain, White Widow. This strain is popular amongst the medical community and growers as a result of its high yield and soothing sedative effects. This Indica-dominant strain has come in second place in many competitions, but that doesn’t mean it is a second-rate strain.

Grow info

The optimal conditions for White Rhino are a well-controlled environment with a steady temperature between 68-80 degrees Fahrenheit. While this strain grows well both indoors and outdoors, indoor growing provides the best yield. With a flowering time of 9 weeks, heavy feeding with nitrogen-rich nutrients will help the plant grow to its ideal form. Interestingly, hydroponics, a technique of growing plants using a nutrient water solution rather than soil, can lead to very rapid growth and attractive returns for those willing to invest more into their operation.

EFFECTS

Being virtually all Indica, the effects of White Rhino are the typical body-high that can take you from a numbed feeling all the way to a deep sleep! Once you find your tolerance level, you’ll find yourself filled with a euphoric feeling that is best experienced at night time as the full-body high can leave many users feeling sleepy, tired but inspired! This is a great option for late night dreamers.

The numbing effects of White Rhino mean that many consumers use it to treat aches and pains as well as for Insomnia or sleep deprivation. Like many other Indicas, it can also increase appetite, relieve stress and anxiety and act as a general mood booster.

New users of White Rhino should take some caution, and take a few hits at a time until you become used to it. The full effect of the high can take a little while, so take your time getting used to White Rhino before you go full throttle! Other than being a little overwhelming for novice tokers, you may experience dry eye/mouth with this one.
