Dry Mouth: Some research has shown that CBD oil and products may be able to decrease saliva production in the mouth. If this were to happen for your dog, he/she would probably express an increase in thirst.
Low Blood Pressure: This shouldn’t be too much of a worry unless you’re giving your dog CBD oil on a regular basis. If you are, there is a chance that your dog’s blood pressure can drop a little bit. High doses of CBD have shown to lower blood pressure, but only temporarily. Keep in mind that the drop will only be for a little while, and it won’t be a heavy drop, but a brief moment of light-headedness may come over your dog.
Drowsiness: When using higher doses, like with the low blood pressure side effect, your dog may experience drowsiness. This often happens when using CBD oil to treat anxiety.
Are there any risks to using CBD oil for my dog?
