During an episode of the GQ online series “Most Expensivist Shit,” rapper 2 Chainz had the opportunity to try the most expensive strain of weed available, accompanied by actress Sarah Silverman. However, the experience left him unimpressed.
The strain in question is called “veganic” weed, a term coined by Kyle Kushman, which combines “vegan” and “organic” to describe its cultivation method. This highly-priced weed costs around $1,000 per ounce or $16,000 per pound. Even a single joint carries a price tag of $37. Kushman even claimed that his involvement in selling “veganic” weed kept him confined to his house for five years.
Upon learning the price, 2 Chainz exclaimed in disbelief, expressing his astonishment at the high cost. He couldn’t fathom paying $1,000 for just an ounce or $16,000 for a pound of “veganic” weed. His reaction was one of surprise and disbelief.
In a separate context, it is worth noting that 2 Chainz is known for his financial success and willingness to spend substantial amounts of money. He even employs his son, Halo, who is aware of the value of their brand and sets high expectations for his appearance fees. During an episode of their podcast, Me and Halo, the seven-year-old confidently stated that he wouldn’t settle for less than $50,000 for a booking. However, he did mention that he might consider a lower rate for those with limited funds, potentially as low as $500.
2 Chainz and his wife, Kesha Ward, have three children together named Heaven, Harmony, and Halo. Their marriage ceremony was an extravagant affair, held at the Gianni Versace Mansion, for which he spent $300,000. Additionally, he went as far as renting a white tiger for the event.
In another episode of the father-son podcast, the duo played a game of “Are You Smarter Than A 1st Grader?” Unfortunately, 2 Chainz didn’t fare well. When asked what temperature water freezes at, he struggled to answer correctly. Halo came to the rescue by revealing that water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, leaving his dad just shy of the correct response.
