Although the exact lineage of Maui Waui is often disputed, most people agree that this Sativa-dominant hybrid comes from the Islands of Maui, and has been around since the 60’s. A 2016 test from Analytical 360 found the THC content for a carefully selected Maui Waui batch to come in at 14.87%, however, with the right conditions, and with an optimal plant, the THC content for this strain can be as high as 20%. The test also found the strain to contain 0.03% CBD with terpene content coming in at 1.371% (with 0.642% Myrcene and 0.357% Caryophyllene coming through in the taste and aroma).
