General info

Island Sweet Skunk, also known as Sweet Island Skunk or ISS, is a sativa-dominant strain that, when smoked, produces a daytime and very energetic high. Consider it an alternative to your morning joe, because it helps you to gain focus and concentration, while motivating you to jump out of your seat and get to work. If you have a day that is filled to the brim with things to do and you are wondering how you’ll climb out from under it all, just light up some Island Sweet Skunk and, suddenly, you’ll be ready to take on the world. With its deep citrusy, tropical tones and its hint of the sweetest skunk, even a sniff of this stuff will put a little spring in your step and leave you feeling peaceful, calm, and ready for action.

Grow info

Taking a page out of Skunk No. 1’s growth patterns, Island Sweet Skunk is known as a very high-yielding and relatively easy to grow strain, whether grown indoors or outdoors. Of course, growing outdoors will allow the plant to have much more room to move during its flowering stage, producing huge and heavy, sticky, mold-resistant buds with orange hairs and a sweet/sour citrus aroma. Be sure to take into account the size and weight of the buds that this plant will produce, as you will want to prop up or support the branches while flowering is occurring so that you don’t run the risk of broken stalks. In order to promote stronger, thicker stalks and stems, add a silica supplement.
