Cheese cookies, sometimes known as Cheesy Cookies, is a hard to find but easy to love hybrid strain that combines the best of both worlds; indica and sativa. Although not widely distributed in the United States yet, Cheese Cookies is a well-known hybrid in Europe and the U.K.
When users talk about Cheese Cookies, they usually talk about how it put them in a good mood, made them want to just kick back and watch a movie or hang out, and generally just feel wonderful.
It makes sense, when you think of Cheese Cookies’ genetics. After all, it is a well-balanced blend of U.K. Cheese (Skunk#1), which produces a “chill” but productive vibe and Girl Scout Cookies, which is known for its ability to set you down in your chair and keep you there for awhile.
Combining the power of relaxation with the possibility of motivation, Cheese Cookies is a must have for all canna connoisseurs.
Cheese Cookies is a compact, medium sized plant that has been bred to be very disease and mold resistant. Although relatively easy to grow, it is important that this plant is carefully maintained, as it does not want to incur stress or else its flowering stage might not be as fruitful.
Because Girl Scout Cookies is a somewhat finicky strain that prefers a warm and almost Mediterranean climate, daily moisture and temperature monitoring is very important with Cheese Cookies.
During its vegetative stage, the plant will produce strong, thick stems and stalks. Take care to fertilize it properly with ample nutrients and it will develop into a medium sized, hearty plant.
During its flowering stage, Cheese Cookies will emit a strong aroma that is both earthy and cheesy at the same time. If growing indoors, ventilation and filtration will be your best friends. The buds will be bright green and compact, heavily coated with trichomes and wrapped in orange hairs. In cooler temperatures, some of those hairs might turn a pale purple color (much like the hair on Girl Scout Cookies), but most will remain vibrant orange.
Because its other parent is U.K. Cheese, a very tolerant and easy strain to grow, a tenuous balanced exists between “easy” and “hard” with this strain. Although not technically described as “difficult” to grow, Cheese Cookies is not recommended for less experienced cultivators who have not experienced the nuances of canna growing.
Currently there is no test data for this hybrid strain. While we can speculate by looking at the data for its parent strains, we cannot give exact data.
U.K. Cheese, when tested by Analytical 360, was found to have 16.51% THC and 0.10% CBD levels. Cannabinoid activated totals were 16.93%. Terpene totals were 1.52%, with high concentrations of Caryophyllene.
Girl Scout Cookies, was found to have 21.23% THC and 0.13% CBD levels. Cannabinoid activated totals were 22.17%. Terpene totals were not tested at that time.
Cheese Cookies is a wonderful choice for those suffering from issues of chronic pain, anxiety, tension, nausea or lack of appetite, and sleeplessness. It is truly a combo punch of impressive pain relief as well as mind-bending relaxation.
Many users who live with constant pain from either chronic illness or other debilitating conditions that make daily life difficult report instant relief that lasts anywhere from 2 to five hours.
Overall, Cheese Cookies offers a wonderful balance between indica and sativa, providing the user with a cerebral and uplifting high, while also providing all of the relaxation that a strong indica tends to offer.
Beginning in the head, the effects will then move down the body, sending relief to whatever areas need it most. After the initial high, Cheese Cookies will settle into the body, offering relief from tension and any signs of stress.
Many have said that this is a great strain to use if you just want to stay in, hang out with friends, and watch a movie. Oh, and be sure to have food on hand when experiencing Cheese Cookies because you are guaranteed to get one major case of the munchies.
