General info
Cheese cookies, sometimes known as Cheesy Cookies, is a hard to find but easy to love hybrid strain that combines the best of both worlds; indica and sativa. Although not widely distributed in the United States yet, Cheese Cookies is a well-known hybrid in Europe and the U.K.
When users talk about Cheese Cookies, they usually talk about how it put them in a good mood, made them want to just kick back and watch a movie or hang out, and generally just feel wonderful.
It makes sense, when you think of Cheese Cookies’ genetics. After all, it is a well-balanced blend of U.K. Cheese (Skunk#1), which produces a “chill” but productive vibe and Girl Scout Cookies, which is known for its ability to set you down in your chair and keep you there for awhile.
Combining the power of relaxation with the possibility of motivation, Cheese Cookies is a must have for all canna connoisseurs.
Grow info
Cheese Cookies is a compact, medium sized plant that has been bred to be very disease and mold resistant. Although relatively easy to grow, it is important that this plant is carefully maintained, as it does not want to incur stress or else its flowering stage might not be as fruitful.
Because Girl Scout Cookies is a somewhat finicky strain that prefers a warm and almost Mediterranean climate, daily moisture and temperature monitoring is very important with Cheese Cookies.
During its vegetative stage, the plant will produce strong, thick stems and stalks. Take care to fertilize it properly with ample nutrients and it will develop into a medium sized, hearty plant.
During its flowering stage, Cheese Cookies will emit a strong aroma that is both earthy and cheesy at the same time. If growing indoors, ventilation and filtration will be your best friends. The buds will be bright green and compact, heavily coated with trichomes and wrapped in orange hairs. In cooler temperatures, some of those hairs might turn a pale purple color (much like the hair on Girl Scout Cookies), but most will remain vibrant orange.
Because its other parent is U.K. Cheese, a very tolerant and easy strain to grow, a tenuous balanced exists between “easy” and “hard” with this strain. Although not technically described as “difficult” to grow, Cheese Cookies is not recommended for less experienced cultivators who have not experienced the nuances of canna growing.
