What’s Up With Decarboxylation?

Decarbing your weed isn’t just something you should try here and there – it’s essential to having proper edibles – really!

Decarboxylation loosely translated means heating the cannabis flower to activate the high.

When you heat up cannabis flower at a low temperature in the oven (240 F) for about 40 minutes, you’re participating in a seriously cool scientific situation.

THCA now becomes THC, meaning you will get high when using the cannabis in your food. Failing to do so will result in a poor high, and you’ll probably feel nothing at all.

So yes, please always decarb your weed so you can enjoy a delicious high.
